Rumor: Rambis Lead Candidate for Suns’ Coaching Vacancy

This is according to several Phoenix fans who saw it on ESPN’s 1st & 10 this morning. Here is the thread from LG.net, posted by Exick

A couple people saw this (along the bottom crawl) during ESPN’s First and 10 this morning.

What do you think? Does Kurt want that job and would the Lakers want to let him go?

i think if the season ended a lot more sooner for the suns, they would of signed larry brown right away. same for dallas, if they ended their season earlier! but i really doubt rambis will take the job to be the sun’s coach! if he does, then best of luck to him!

      hell no

    • DoDoBallz

Would be interesting and Shaq is familiar with him.
Also a little bit of the triangle may help them.
Wouldn’t worry about the Suns if they do though
because despite having an advantage of knowing a little
about us they still cant get on our level especially when
      “EVERYBODY” is healthy.

      Get well Drew.
      GO LAKERS

yeah i saw it this morning. They actually talked about it. John Ireland was on ESPN to talk about the Lakers win and he said Kurt Rambis would be a good fit with the Suns and they will interview him, when they can.. unless they hire someone before that time comes.

    • Remy

plus, i think kurt’s son (maybe it was jim cleamon) is attending college in la…i think ucla, he can’t go to the suns!!!

      F U C K The Suns

    • SliqRiq

Hmmmmm………. An offensive team looking at a tough defensive minded assistant like Rambis!!!! I think they finally realized they’re not going to win anything without the D.

      Dont do it Rambis!!!!!!

    • DingleBerry

suns, you can take the goofy lookin bastard…

    • BEC

Not to put down Rambis or anything but that wouldnt be the best choice for Suns. Their window is tight, if not closed already, they need to win now or they never will, which in reality means they never will, so who cares especially with the Lakers getting better and NO coming in. What they need is an experienced coach, they should be looking at a guy like jeff van gundy defensive minded and experienced head coach. Rambis has no head coach experience and they dont have time to see what he can do. So i say do it, Rambis can go in and ruin everything they got going down there, and come right back to the Lakers, haha.
