The Lakers Nation is proud to announce that we will have a exclusive interview with NBA Correspondent Elie Seckbach. Most of you might know him from his entertaining reports on YouTube where he interviews NBA Superstars with his “unique questioning style.”

If you’d like to submit possible questions that you’d like to be answered by Elie, please add them to the comments.

Here’s a bit more information on Elie Seckbach…

The Embedded NBA Correspondent has been covering the NBA since 1997, using his unique questioning style to create entertaining reports that explore more than basketball.

His ability to get interesting quotes from athletes prompted Andy Gray of CNN/SI to call him “the most entertaining NBA reporter out there.” While Kelly Dwyer of Yahoo Sports says: “You’ve got to love Elie Seckbach, Embedded NBA Reporter, for his genuine takes…”

Away from the NBA Elie has covered major news events and has won both a Golden Mike and an Emmy Award.

His reports can be seen on: in Hebrew, on leading news outlets in Israel: “NRG” (Maariv) “Sport 5″ and “Walla”. As well as The LA Daily News & Yedioth (Aharonot) LA.

    Hey Elie,
I have e-mailed you before and I really enjoy the way you interview the players. I am majoring in broadcasting/journalism and will be finishing up school at Cal State LA and was just wondering what were some rules or guidelines to follow when interviewing players. I want to make sure if and when I interview players that they know I respect them and their time.

    Thanks, Andrew Wester.

Elie, how does it feel to be at a losing end in a bet with Kobe? What was harder–having to make yourself believe that Kobe made that half-court left-handed shot or having to do the 200 push-ups?

HAHAHA! That was a classic though. I remember the time that happened, Paul Sunderland was still the Laker announcer.
