Phil Jackson Named Coach of the Month

Phil Jackson was named the NBA Western Conference Coach of the Month, today, for the games played in March.

Jackson led the Lakers to a league-best 12-1 record in March. The Lakers (54-20), currently stand in second place in the West, trailing the San Antonio Spurs by 2 ½ games for the number one seed.

The Lakers earned 12 wins in the month, including a 99-83 victory at San Antonio on March 6. The Lakers also defeated Dallas twice in March and clinched the Pacific Division title with an 84-80 victory over Portland on March 20.

    Jerk! Really he’s overrated? Why then can’t the others make it happen…You know who’s overrated? Papovich …but everyone’s always speaking so highly of him and yeah in compaurison to others his accomplishments are great…but its not exceptional ….not THAT impressive….Phil is the supreme coach of the NBA…done!!!!
