This is great news as we can really use them both!

O.C. Register: The Lakers are looking to snap a rare two-game losing streak Sunday night vs. Milwaukee, and the odds will increase substantially if Pau Gasol (hamstring) can play … or maybe a wee bit if Luke Walton (back) can play for the first time since Nov. 13. The Lakers are listing both as game-time decisions.

Walton practiced with his fellow reserves Saturday — Lakers starters were excused from working out — and is nearing a return to action after a pinched nerve in his back led him to try and rebuild his core strength. Gasol advanced in his recovery from a pulled left hamstring and was on the treadmill Saturday.

If Gasol can play, he can have a personal hand in preserving the Lakers’ record of never losing three consecutive games since acquiring Gasol on Feb. 1, 2008. He has missed the past three games since playing just seven minutes against Dallas on Sunday night.

GREAT NEWS BUT ILL MUCH RATHER HAVE THEM TAKE TOMORROW OFF AND BE READY FOR THE SPURS AND MAVS 4 THE BACK TO BACK GAMES AND ARTEST NEEDS MORE SHOTS HE ONLY GOT 16 IN THE LAST 2 GAMES WHILE KOBE GOT 66

  • http://lakersnation.com KOBE THA MVP 10′

    only if we had Bosh

    • http://TheLakersNation Marwan..

Who needs Bosh, We got Pau!

  • http://TheLakersNation Marwan..

We need Pau back tomorrow to keep Bogut in check, hes been on fire the past couple of games. Artest needs to take out Redd by any means necessary, we cant allow him to establish his position and get into rhythm.
The problem will be Brandon Jennings. Fisher will have a hard time with him so we need Farmar and/or Brown to slow him down drastically.
LO will need to be the LO he has been since Pau has been out.
Kobe will need to pass around, and limit his shots, the team plays better with him passing around, cause he attracts doubles.
The rest of the team must knock down their shots.

I hope now that Kobe saw the Eagles get blown out, he will realise thats how us, Laker fans feel, when we see the Lakers get blown out or lose.

    • 09champs!

hahaha KB is gonna take out his frustrations (about the Eagles) tomorrow, and Fish is gonna play very enthusiastic because Cowboys won :)
BTW, realistically, do you think the Lakers cover the spread of -10 ?

  • drive-for-16th

eagles to dallas. lol kobe must be pissed. I heard the whole team is pissed of by losing to blazers, thats good though, take their aggression out next game and save it for spurs and mavs too. Also i heard houstan wants chris bosh.

    • http://TheLakersNation Marwan..

Not want him, they say its a possibility where he can land.

  • lucid

Why do I have to go to Hoopsworld to learn that the Lakers may offer Andrew for Chris Bosh? I don’t know how I feel exactly about that trade but I think if it’s possible I would welcome it.

    • http://TheLakersNation Marwan..

I dont wanna talk about trades here but… DO IT MITCH!! FOR THE LOVE OF LAKERS, DO IT!!!

    • http://TheLakersNation Marwan..

Well after reading that article, it was a rumor. But what I said, if Lakers have the opportunity, they should do it. Bynum isnt the primary option in the post but in Toronto he can be. Both sides win.
I dont hate Bynum, but sometimes you just want whats better for your team.

People please, I urge you to watch this touching video on DJ Mbenga’s story. Whether you love or hate him, you will certainly not hate him after you watch this video on his story. You will certainly wanna cry. Please, I urge you to watch it.

  • Justin M.

wow, there’s a new report out every 5 min. on pau, first he’s a game time decision on Sunday now they’re saying he might be out until next friday! I don’t get it, if you don’t feel any pain, i don’t see the issue with getting back on the court besides being over cautious. Imagine if pau fractured his index finger, he’d be out the whole season 0_0

before he got to L.A. he was the joke of the league, soft soft soft.since he`s on our team we don`t speak of those things…GASOFT???
