Painful Reminder

Kobe discusses the pinky that everyone is talking about…

L.A. Daily News: It’s been more than a month since Kobe Bryant injured his right pinkie so severely that he will need surgery after the NBA season and the Beijing Olympics are completed. Not a game goes by that he doesn’t get a painful reminder of his injury.

“You get used to it,” said Bryant, who was hurt in the Lakers’ win Feb. 5 against the New Jersey Nets. “I’ll keep my hand out of a play or two and I’ll try to move my fingers around to try to wait for the pain to subside a little bit. Sometimes I’ll forget to buddy-tape them when I’m at home. It’ll get hurt in a shirt or on the couch and it’ll remind you pretty quick.”

i cannot put words into my mouth how does kobe managed to play with that pinkie injury. It’s too dangerous can’t help but bite my lips everytime he got contact with other players while playing. But we all knew he’s tough and he’s willing to do everything for his team.
