Kobe discusses the pinky that everyone is talking about…

L.A. Daily News: It’s been more than a month since Kobe Bryant injured his right pinkie so severely that he will need surgery after the NBA season and the Beijing Olympics are completed. Not a game goes by that he doesn’t get a painful reminder of his injury.

“You get used to it,” said Bryant, who was hurt in the Lakers’ win Feb. 5 against the New Jersey Nets. “I’ll keep my hand out of a play or two and I’ll try to move my fingers around to try to wait for the pain to subside a little bit. Sometimes I’ll forget to buddy-tape them when I’m at home. It’ll get hurt in a shirt or on the couch and it’ll remind you pretty quick.”
