Odom to host All-Star weekend party

Lakers Examiner: Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom has been playing out of his mind recently. That’s not debatable.

Over his last four games Odom is averaging nearly 20 points and 15 rebounds, blowing away his season totals of 10 and 7. Obviously he’s been getting more minutes due to Andrew Bynum’s injury, which contributes to the increased productivity. But anybody watching the games can tell that Lamar’s intensity and energy are at a level we haven’t seen in a long time.

Why?

After a little searching, I have found the reason for Odom’s recent surge. He was simply trying to draw attention to himself in order to gain publicity for the Atomic Music Group’s HML All-Star Weekend Midnight Soiree!

Lamar will host the party, although he is playing second fiddle to bigger names such as Mr. Rikk aka The Hard Money Lender, Lifestyle Specialist Kenny Burns, and “tastemaker/celebrity” DJ Darrin Ebron.
