L.A. Times: It was another big effort by Lamar Odom, another game in which he was a force for the Lakers, another game in which he was a difference maker.
Odom produced yet another double-double for the Lakers on Monday night against the Utah Jazz, scoring 26 points and grabbing 15 rebounds.
His play went a long way in helping the Lakers defeat the Jazz, 107-96, in Game 5 of the Western Conference playoff series at Staples Center.
His play in the first round went a long way in helping the Lakers win the best-of-seven series, 4-1.
“I play my game,” Odom said. “I shot the ball well from the outside. That helped me. Especially at the power forward position, guys are reluctant to come out to kind of guard me on the outside because of my shot. I can put pressure on them.
“I just want to win.”
