  • Dragon

Well whatever lakers do they better not lose any games on home floor take advantage of this home court advantage and at least get 1 in Orlando but if they can get two that would be sweet. They better becareful of their shooters and Dwight. GO LAKERS!!!!

  • Drake Hunter

Lebrons a LITTLE B-I-T-C-H for not shaking any of the Orlando Magic players after losing the game! Lose with some dignity and respect for your opponents who mopped with floor with your face legitimately and take the loss like a man instead of running off the court like a little cry baby!!! Someone should get Queen James a bib and a tissue!!!!!!!

  • lakerman1

Lebron did the same thing last year when he lost to the Celts. Sure wish the media would call him out like they do the Lakers everytime we don’t win by 50. Lebron is not this great guy people try to make him out to be. Now i will sit calmly by while people start talking about how we better show up for the Magic. I have no doubt that Kobe & Co will not lose this year. I am not going to jump on & off the wagon, the Lakers are the better team and will prove it.

  • as1084

the 2-3-2 format sucks! IMO it actually gives the magic the advantage with 3 straight in orlando. even if the lakers win games 1 and 2, the still face the possibility of facing elimination at home in game 6. why should orlando have the advantage of breaking a 2-2 tie in orlando. the lakers should get that advantage. the 2-2-1-1-1 format is much better and actually gives the higher seed the advantage.

i agreed, that’s a stupid format for HCA teams.
Anyway, we just need to take care of business at home, try to steal one game on the road and close it at game 6.
I think this year, Kobe finally will get the ring. After the award presentation yesterday, I could feel that the whole team is very focused in getting the title.

sidenote: LBJ is a little bi-tch for not being man enough to shake hands and talk with media after his loss. Come on, that’s not a man thing to do. Looks more like a coward. Nike must be pissed right now. ESPN too.
    Kobe is the man!

  • 2Anush4

you guys are incorrect because HCA really favors this format………..its very rare that the home team wins all 3 games in a row….and game 6 and 7 are at home…..theres no way were losing those……so it actually really favors us

  • gugy

yes, but if Lakers lose one game at home, then becomes really hard to play 3 games on the road before coming back home.
It’s tricky, The lakers need to take care of the first two games for sure to have piece of mind going to Orlando.

Magics will steal games one and two, and close out the series at LA in game 6. GO MAGICS!! D12 will own Bynum and Pau in this series. Even Magic Johnson has his doubts about the Lakers.

I’m sorry but i have to say this. IS it just me or has Kobe FALLEN MADLY IN LOVE with tough jump shots in the past few years. Maybe it’s because of his age, but his aggression and creating contact when going to the hoop have drastically lessened(i know he’s more of the finesse type of player but still…). During the times the Lakers have struggled it’s always Kobe having an off jump shooting night. When he says that he wants to get the team going when they start off slow, he SHOULD BE damn AGGRESSIVE and force the action inside. Attack the body of the defender and DONT avoid the contact. Kobe’s biggest damn superstar in the NBA, he’ll get the call 8 times out of 10. If the Lakers wanna win this year vs Orlando, Kobe needs to ATTACK.

  • Rich

Im not worried about the Lakers losing at home because they have proven that they can win on the road. It favors home court advantage because its very hard for a team to win 3 in a row at home. That Detroit team in 04 was on a mission and Malone was hurt that year. LBJ is like Isiah Thomas not shaking hands is totally unprofessional. If Kobe did that the media would be all over him. I think the Lakers win in 4 or 5. Are they still showing the Kobe vs Lebron commercials?

I would be glad for Coach Phil Jackson if the Lakers win so that he will have the most NBA titles as a coach (10). As for that Michael Jordan swagjacker #24, he’s the most selfish player of all-time, whether fairweather Laker fans want to admit it or not. Last February he was crying “trade me, my team sucks” until Gasol came. If he’s as great as he THINKS he is, he’s supposed to make his teammates better.
