Mitch spoke out on the Odom suspension ruling…

L.A.Times: “We’re disappointed with and we disagree with the league’s ruling,” Lakers General Manager Mitch Kupchak said.

Yeah it’s ridicolous what the ruling was. I got mad when he got suspended. But he did get off the bench, but the ruling is stupid -_-.

  • lakerfan

He should be disappointed on his recent games

  • xtro

Stupid rule in opinion. What are you going to do if players from the opposing teams suddenly jump on your teammate?

  • lakersman24

I just hope this game wansnt the one lamar picked for a 10+ point and 20+ reb game LOL…

  • manderoth

OK nba made a stupid call, but where is suspension for B.Roy?! He was the most aggressive guy in whole situation!

    agreed

  • LAKERNATION

I agree with MITCH on this whole situation as well. stu jackson is a f ucking fool for suspending ODOM. Like I said he clearly doesn’t like the LAKERS and he is a bad person to be deciding who and who doesn’t get the suspention. I’m not being biased, I’m speaking the truth. stu has made some bullsh it suspentions the past few years on players. And if david stern had any say in this, which I think he did, I don’t really mind him because he is a great comish. and he has been the NBA’s comish since maybe 1980 I believe.

  • LakersFirst

I agree with Mitch. LO didn’t leave the bench. Their fight was right next to the bench. Just because a player gets up to see what’s going on, does not constitute as leaving the bench.

This is simply the NBA wanting to have a tight knit race for best record to boost ratings. I hate David Stern (worst commissioner in all of sports).

Are you guys kidding me? This couldn’t have been a more obvious suspension possible. Lamar got up and not only got in the “fight”, but he was pushing people around in it! There is absolutely no question he should have been suspended based on the rule.

The NBA is str8 up gay!! Brandon ROy was the one acting a fool!! I wish that L_O or Ariza would’ve stole on em for talking smack!! GO LAKERS!!

That’s exactly why they have this rule; god forbid anymore “Palace of Auburn Hills” occur.

    he didnt do anything..

I am glad they are speaking up about it.

  • Barack Obama

Could be a blessing in disguise, hopefully he can get back to productive play.

Technically he get up out of his seat, but steve nash is always lying down deep on the baseline, he never even sits down it seems like, just straight to the floor…. Where the altercation occurred was in the general vicinity and to my recollection, he did not step on the court. So constitute explicitly where the bench is like the “coach’s box” in college.
