Not this again.

    hahahhahahhaha, no comment.

  • kevin

hopefully, he will call it a career caused he will not break the rotation any way

  • bbz62

    fluke walton imo

  • ignard

Luke should just retire and let the Lakers use his roster spot for someone else.

Here we go again….Luke gets hurt more than a blind guy playing dodge ball while running on a floor full of marbles.

  • KUSH

Most people look at Walton and are immediately turned off by his lack of quickness and his non-existent leaping ability.. Let’s get rid of this guy already..

  • Robert.

Oh f***, another $4M down the drain this year.
    Well, wait till next year.
Maybe he can be an assistant coach again. (I’m sure he won’t do the ‘right’ thing, and have the Lakers buy out his contract).

    • Marwan Marzina

Next year? He’s locked in till the end of 2012.

    • drive-for-16th

      4 mill?
, hes gettin around 6 mill

      • Robert.

Even worse. Or to quote Dire Straits: “Money for Nothing, Chicks for Free”

    • Robert.

Yeah, I mean maybe he’ll play next year?
Remind me to sell my Luke Walton basketball card on eBay.

      • Evil Empire

I wanna get paid to sit in every Laker game, practice with the team, get free top of the line medical staff looking after me every day, have access to a private gym and basketball court also. And I will take the minimal salary every year in 1 year contracts. Come on lakers. I’ll cheer really hard in my $300 custom tailored Italian suit

  • F__K That!

    Luke you are a POS.

  • lonestar848

Time to resign Adam Morrison…the Wizards just let him go!

    • evil empire

I would not mind that. He just got waved from the Wizards and we can get him cheap. Come on Mitch give him a 1 year contract. We should make a partition or something and send it to Mitch.

    • Robert.

Not a bad idea. But I would rather have Trey Johnson back.
Still, Adam would like to have 3 rings, right? That’s 3 more than Charles Barkley, and LeBron James.

    • team_me

was thinkin the same thing i want Adam Back his our lucky charm.!

  • evil empire

To bad for Luke. Thats why the Lakers signed Matt Barns and we got Ebanks as a sub for him.

  • rondo

Luke reminds me of big Bill. Both stayed injuried during their time in the NBA.

  • gus26

OMG… i was the biggest luke fan and always stood up for him but enough is enough he got hurt doing NOTHING… this fool needs to retire… i can’t even think of a bigger wasted contract on an injury prone player… this is horrible…

    • Hey

Thank you for seeing the light, unlike people such as “Wife Loves Luke”

    • 242LakerFan

As much as I hate to say it, I have to agree with you Gus. I just can’t justify supporting Luke anymore. I think it’s time to hang ‘em up and rest on your laurels. The only motivation he could have to stick around at this point is to say that he has one more than Dad.
3banks deserves some time without worrying about when Luke might be ready to go again and get minutes he could be using to develop his potential (which is huge).
Give us a break, Luke. Let it go.

  • drive-for-16th

forget walton, IF PHIL is smart he would play Ebanks and not be douche and put in walton, but wait waltons injured AGAIN, so he better play ebanks too. That guy is waaaaay better then walton, wtf does walton even do.

  • si pepe

    fuck luke fuck on!

  • lakers4life

    he’s always sick!

  • zestfulla

lets clear up some cap same and get rid of luke, he is useless!!!!
