It would have been nice if we traded Shannon for OJ Mayo! If the Grizzlies almost traded Mayo for Mcroberts?

    • Wendy

      NO! Not Shannon “Air” Brown!

      • Eddie Mejia

I was at the game last night vs the Clippers and lets just say at times i was telling myself why didn’t trade shannon for the Juice man. I love Shannon too but Mayo would give the bench some more scoring. We need that

I have faith in the the group, but if we can pick up kapono or murphy and keep em away from other teams than that waorks too.

  • stunna2007

It’s not a neccesity for th lakers to pickup anyone off wavers because matt barnes is coming back to bring the spark we need off the bench…but however another big man like troy murphy can eat up some mins in the paint…or a good sharp shoot like kapono can help…but i like the way we’re playing the energy is there and hopefully to stay straight until playoffs….

its a loaded question – what are the trade pieces, was tha offer even on the table, the fantasy world that the fans create on espn trade machine isnt a reality . . . Jerry West used to say that the best trade is often the trade not made.

  • Rich K

Shannon Brown is the biggest disappointment. Whether he should have been traded is a moot point. Shannon has no court sense. He dribbles into crowds, he shoots when he should pass, and his shooting has been very spotty. I think OJ Mayo at least is a good scorer and of course learning the triangle would detract from his abilities. I guess it’s a toss up.
