So if you’re like me, not even a Kobe documentary can sway us all of the nervousness and anxiety which awaits us for this upcoming game 7 tomorrow afternoon at STAPLES Center. Well, here is are some cool facts about game 7′s and these two teams…

  • Lakers are 18-3 all-time in Game 7′s
  • Lakers are 12-1 at home
  • Rockets are 5-3 all-time Game 7′s
  • Rockets are 2-2 on the road
  • These teams have NEVER faced each other in a Game 7
  • Rockets last road game 7 was a 40-point loss to Mavs in 2005

WELL THIS ALL SOUNDS VERY GOOD, POSITIVE AND CONVENCING BUT JUST LIKE THIS STATS AND LIKE THE “KOBE DOIN’ WORK” WILL NOT BE ENOUGH IF THE LAKERS KEEP PLAYING WITH NO ENERGY, PASSION, OR HEART TO WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP BECAUSE THE NUGGETS ASWELL AS CAVS ARE READY AND HUNGRY! SOMETHING THE LAKERS HAVE RECENTLY HAVE LACK OF. ANYWAYS, I WISH THE BEST OF LUCK TO OUR LAKERS PLAYERS TOMORROW AFTERNOON AND HOPE THEY WIN GAME 7, BUT LAKERS CANNOT GO ON LIKE THIS AFTER GAME 7!!!! AND play like they have during the houston series to denver or cleveland nor @ boston cause if they do….this year will be another year of failure!

Simply put, THE LAKERS WILL WIN THIS GAME! EVERYBODY TALKING ABOUT WILL KOBE “LET” THIS TEAM LOSE? THE PROOF KOBE HAS MATURED, HE WILL DO WHAT HE ALWAYS DOES IN THESE SITUATIONS AND THAT’S BE MAMBA-ISH, BUT PAU GASOL, AND A GUARD MUST GET BUSY. Everything else will be extra! Pau getting on track and Kobe, with say Farmar, spells a win. Drew & Lamar must get their hands on boards. So as we go through this journey, let’s just be gr8ful because it’s going to help us down the line! We have officially been battle tested!

HEY MARGO, MAYBE HE SHOULD OF DONE ALL THAT GAME 6??

  • lainok

mamba has venom, he will strike at the jugular of battier, artest, and whoever comes at him. this game he will actually take it to the hole, actually get the calls, and actually take foul shots. pau will show up. bynum? still don’t know about that one. Fisher will find his shot again, if only for one game. odom will do what needs to be done. If the machine can boot up for at least a 40% shooting night, then we are golden.

Kobe’s season wasn’t in danger in game 6. Now in game 7, it’s fight or flight for Kobe Bryant.

The last time a game 7 was played at Staples, my most favorite moment of all-time took place – The Alley-oop.

This is more than a game 7, this is about Kobe’s legacy. Anything short of a championship thia year tarnishes LAs legacy, a loss tomorrow likely ends this Laker team and hangs a shadow over Kobe and Phil, permanently.
