Larry Brown tells us Bynum waited at the bus and apologized to him

Bynum is a good guy. This is what Larry Brown said Bynum did after the game…

Charlotte Observer: “That kid waited at our bus, trying to get to Gerald, and he apologized to me,’’ Brown said. “If he had a history of that (rough play), I might feel different, but I just think it was a hard foul.’’

Thank god for this revelation…I’m starting to feel that the league will look at AB differently after this play.

Q: Will this affect the decision that the league will make in regards to a possible suspension? ;)

Well this proves that Bynum tried to give Wallace a hard foul but didn’t mean to hurt him.

Bynum is growing up right in front of our eyes…

I told you guys Bynum is just too soft to help us win a championship. KG would have never apologized.

what does bein hard or soft have to do with bein concerned about anotha players injury?…it takes a real man to apoligize..what a playa does on da court shouldnt b a factor what he does off da court..bynum is growin into da playa we want him to b n dats whats important not what he does off da court..bynum saw wallace hurt on da floor n da last thing to he wants to do is injured a playa cuz he knows how it feel to b hurt n away from da game. he know dat wasnt his intention to send him to da hospital at da same time he was protectin da paint n didnt get da chance to say my bad or at least help him get up off da floor cuz he was on da ground..so at least he made an effort to apoligize..n dat takes a man to get n in return respect is gained from wallace cuz he knows now for a fact its part of bastketball n not dat bynum intentionally tried to hurt him…n if u cant understand dat “MR JUAN_YOURWARLOCK” den theres no more need to explain sumthin to u…youll get it one day…mayb dat day will come da day lakers win a champiopnship n by den youll c how big of a role bynum will contribute to da team n den feel dumb bout makin da comment whether he soft. Let a true fan from Los Angeles who kno what hardship is about n decide wheter it was about bein a man n puttn da pride aside. Bynum kno his role now n he gon continue puttin n work. n u mite as well b a boston fan cuz true laker fans give support to our players when credit is due n somebody is ridin on KG cuz how u gon judge what a playa is gon say or do..regaurdless..u dont have a personal relationship with garnett n if u do den dat explains everythin. nuff said

      truly a class act.

Maybe the opposition will think twice when coming into the paint with AB there. Injuries are never a good thing, but that’s the risk one takes when playing a sport.

I only wish AB did this to KG or Paul Pierce

Does anyone play ball here? hard fouls happen all the time, but you apologize and play…I’ve been fouled hard a lot, and i’ve fouled hard against opposition. In the end you have to make sure the other player is okay. And Andrew did the right thing. GJ

Yup Yup… Agree 100% on this one… Others would just walk away and shrug saying it’s all part of the game and not even apologise…

      That’s CHARACTER on Bynum’s part there…

    • lakerferlife7

hard fouls are apart of basketball….just go back to the 80′s…players back then didnt just let players get to the rim that easily…i hope that bynum will bring that kind of mantality every game by making sure that wen the game is close the opposing team knows that if they attack the basket bynum will be there to stop them

    • joe grande

on the court you can get nasty, foul, and injure, but off the court you are aloud to appologize

Like not duh he didn’t mean to break anyone’s ribs. but he was extremely careless to commit a hard foul in that particular way: darting his elbow into the chest of a player flying in. it’s pretty stupid really.

after all this is just basketball.. play hard.. but its sad to see someone get hurt.. especially when you’re responsible for that someone getting hurt.. nice gesture of andrew.. :)

that’s because kg is a d!ck! bynum is a nice kid whose got great game and is coming into his own! a couple of months back i was still dreadin the fact that we didn’t trade for kg because bynum did seem soft with his play. now that i see he’s back to what he was before he got hurt and also how much of a pu$$y kg’s turned out to be…i’m looking forward to seeing the A-BOMB explode all over kg and show him who’s really soft.

kg is a d!ck and you’re an idiot for your quote!

      joe grande,

i don’t think that this is the “joe grande” from the radio show, but whoever you are…you’ve gotta have spell check right? “injure” are you trying to say “injury”? or “injured”? how about “aloud”…i believe it’s “allow” that you were trying to say.

man, the state of our public education these days is RIDICULOUS!
