Everyone here understands the fans frustrations when it comes to the site name. There have been plans to change the name since Day 1, whether the Lakers landed KG or not.
EVENTUALLY the site name will change to a Lakers based name, but until then name will be GetGarnett.com. Though the meaning of the site has been “changed” as another moderator posted earlier, the plans for this site have always been to change the site name to a complete Lakers news site for Lakers Nation.
Again, until we are ready to complete all our changes, the GG name will stay. We are all working extremely hard to get all the fans the up-to-date Lakers news as soon as possible, and nothing is going to change that.
We appreciate your patience, so please stop nagging all the mods. WE HEAR YOU and we promise that in the near future, everything will be exactly where it needs to be.
