For diehard Lakers fans, this information may be rehashed but I definetely think it’s worth pointing out that our Lakers have been destorying some major streaks this year…
- They stopped the Celtics two streaks of 19 and 12 consecutive games.
- They snapped the Cavs streak of 23 consecutive home games.
- Tonight, coming into the game, the Hornets were carrying an NBA record 13 straight overtime victories. That string of success is now dead since the Lakers pulled off the close win in the extra period.
