Next they should consider waiving Coby Karl. The guy looks overwhelmed out there.

  • xtro

yup. keep joe crawford. guys got potential

  • Nabil

can someone list up everyone that’s remaining?

  • giveandgo

Do we have room for Giles, still? I agree with you Smush.

  • Michael_23

I feel Coby Karl is playing worse than Brandon Heath … Coby should play in Europe, I heard they have a lot of money there.

I like Coby Karl cause he’s a scrub.. but it’s about the whole team here, and yeah he does look too overwhelmed, Smush.

    People left:

    CJ Giles
    Joe Crawford
    Josh Powell
    Coby Karl

I didn’t include Sun Yue and DJ Mbenga since .. we’ve signed ‘em right?

  • bhpreppy

Coby Karl is the biggest waste of a roster spot I have ever seen…that guy needs to be taken out back and given a proper ass whooping. Crawford should get that spot by a long shot…Powell is already on the team too. That guy is going to be a great bench player when he gets his opportunity. He’s flat out oozing machismo.

  • KOBE2K9

Heath was my boy at SDSU but no one is cutting it of the rookies. Josh Powell will be on our roster and probably Giles and the others should be sent down to the D League

  • PeanutButterSpread

I feel bad for the kid, hopefully he’ll train harder and get signed somewhere. I wish him all the best.

But he needs to learn to dribble better :/

  • 323 TOWN

WE SHOULD WAIVE SUN YUE!!!! HE’S TRASH!!!! LMAO WHAT WAS MITCH THINKING?

  • RAZOR RAMON

    He looks like puff daddy

Sun Yue is NOT trash! He’s not 100% recovered from his recent illness. Ask Kobe what he thinks of Sun Yue before you cut him.

Ask Kobe??? You mean the guy that wanted to trade Bynum!!! I think Kobe’s the last guy on the team I would want to ask for player opinions. Kobe himself said he’ll stop asking like GM. I think we should refrain from his GM opinions.

i thought sun played pretty horribly as well and i dont think it was cuz of mano. but cut him some slack he’s in a new country and new league with new teammates. i say give him some time before we start crucifying him.

and too bad for kanye, i mean brandon heath… at least he experienced playing with elite company

  • http://swishtheball.net trevor A.

this guy was the quickest on the team

  • Smush Walton

Here is our roster of 17:
    Kobe, Fisher, Ariza, Pau, Bynum,
    Farmar, Sasha, Lamar, Vlad, Mihm,
Luke, Mbenga, Josh Powell, Sun Yue,

Joe Crawford, CJ Giles, Coby Karl

I would think Coby Karl would be the bottom ranked player based on his preseason performance. Sun hasn’t been that great but he played pretty good in the olympics and he has been sick with Mono. I could see Sun possibly playing a good portion of the year in the D league.

He’s not a good GM. But he notices talent when theyre playing

I agreed, he did not play well. But hes NO trash. He needs adjustment and conditioning, plus he just got over MONO. Look it up while youre at the computer look up Chinas basketball team in the 2008 Olympics. Look whos trash?

  • LET THERE BE LIGHT

I think we gonna keep Giles. let go of karl and crawford.

Shiit ask me what I think.lol

Sun Yue needs time to prove himself can’t judge him with pre-season games.

Give him 4 games in the season and then cut him or keep him. simple as that.

And for that nigga that said ask kobe. KB is the last homie to ask. how about ask DJ Mbenga??? haha

AMEN dude. I feel really bad for him because I was kinda getting use to him on this team. And yes I too wish him the greatest luck, and I hope some team pics him up if not this season but next season. Good guy BRANDON HEATH seemed to be!!!!!!!

See you agree, we shouldn’t ask Kobe. We should ask Mbenga before we ask Kobe.

I too am glad that we don’t have old man Jason Kidd on this team.

  • Albert

    Bad move
he was always the first of the bench on every time out
he seems to get along with kobe and jordan the most from the videos i seen
i think hes a good chemistry guy
i rather cut coby or crawford

it is wise not to disturb DJ, he’s busy shooting commercials. if anybody should ask anybody for roster opinions, it’s gotta be derek fisher. dude looks like buddha.

  • LakersFirst

Well Said!!! DJ knows commercials and DFish is wise like Buddha.

  • Lucas

This pisses me off soooo much. It’s just my opinion, but he’s the best out of the rookies, and, going to basically every single home game that Heath has played at SDSU, I know the talent he has. He is too good to be cut from a team keeping other trash players.

  • Z Money

It’s so funny that people have been saying he was a great teamate and chemistry builder and everything. At SDSU, where he was a star, he wouldn’t even do so much as look at a player who wasn’t at his level, but I guess it only makes sense that someone’s ego would deflate when they’re sitting next to Kobe.
