This new system should be better as it makes it more fair for the regular fans that are not scalpers, brokers or season ticket holders to get tickets! What do you guys think? Lakers 1st round playoff tickets will be put on sale to the public on April 4th at 10am.

The Lakers will have 2 presales for the 1st round ticket onsale, on April 2nd from 10-6pm PDT for Lakers season ticket holders and on April 3rd from 10-6pm PDT for subscribers to our Lakers Promotions email list and members of our season ticket holder waiting list. Sign-up to participate in the pre-sale on Lakers Courtside Connection.

Tickets will only be sold for the 1st round of the playoff, future rounds will be placed on sale when the Lakers progress in the playoffs. Tickets will be on sale to the public through and Ticketmaster outlets, but not at the STAPLES Center Box Office. The presale will be online only.

The schedule for the 1st round will not be confirmed until the end of the regular season. The schedule for later rounds in the playoffs are determined once the preceding round is completed.
