Lakers in the Circle: Minute to Win It

Two Laker stars got a chance to win some money for their respective charities last night on NBC’s game show ” Minute to Win It”. Derek Fisher (University of Arkansas Foundation) and Shannon Brown (The Shannon Brown Foundation) competed against the clock for a good cause. Check out how they did below.

They were awesome in the first 3 rounds then bit it and it unravelled very quickly..WTF! Also that show has so many distractions and commercials that I don’t see how anyone could get to the the final round in 1 hour. That show is cool but executed very inefficiently. Congrats boys and your charities.

  • FAKERS FOREVER!!!

This is an exact quote from GQ!!!!!! I have been telling this all year you fakers fans.

Congratulations, Angelenos! You are the fairest of America’s fair-weather fans! The Lakers unfaithful abandoned their team en masse when Magic retired in 1991, then reconfirmed their fickleness by sending local TV ratings plummeting 30 percent after Shaq departed in 2004. Meanwhile, in these championship days, the Staples Center is more bar scene than sports complex, where fans can’t be bothered to clap-their hands are too busy texting. “The focus is sometimes not on the court,” coach Phil Jackson has said. “It’s on the people in the crowd.” Which explains why eight box suites were recently combined into an offshoot of an abominable nightclub, the Hyde Lounge. After VIPs pass a clipboard gauntlet-at a sports stadium-they can eat $21 nachos at a crocodile-skin bar while waiting for the space to transform into a postbuzzer dance club. When it’s time to leave, a valet will even bring around their bandwagon.

    • Gino

i agree. totally saw it on fish’s face when the last challenge just unravelled so quickly. i’m pretty impressed at how far they got into this game. It just sucks that they were so close in 2 of those games and 2 of their lives were used up.

  • Brown Hater

I’m from Boston I went to a Lakers Celtic’s game in 2007 the year before KG came to town and the crowd was Chanting MVP for Kobe and there was more Purple & Gold in the crowd than green. So don’t talk about LA Fan’s because we would never rout for the Celtic’s

    • lakers

your from boston and your a lakers fann?! wooww props to thattt

      • LakerMarc

Its not so much a matter of props than it is that he has some taste

        • lakers

yeah thats true but you just dont see that too often

  • travis

    wtf
celtics, the heat and the rest of the country are horrible wasnt it a couple of years ago, were boston was chanting mvp aswell as the majority of all other teams.

the greatest fans in the world are laker fans, the only problem is staple center is the red carpet…celebrities want attention and unfortunately for a true fan your left in the dust but regardless we’re true to our team.
