According to Lakers.com, the Lakers have officially hired Eddie Jordan, Steve Clifford and Bernie Bickerstaff to assist Head Coach Mike Brown this upcoming season.

Eddie Jordan (pictured above) will be the face of the Lakers implementation of the Princeton offense.  He will be taking over the role of Coach Kuester, who has now been assigned as a scout on the East Coast.  Jordan was head coach for the Wizards from 2003-2009.

Steve Clifford will be a familiar face to Lakers new Center, Dwight Howard, as he spent the last 5 seasons as an assistant under Stan Van Gundy in Orlando. Clifford will be taking over the role of Quin Snyder, by game planning for teams and working with the offense and defense.

Bernie Bickerstaff will add his experience by adding his insight from a bird’s eye view. Bickerstaff will be focusing on the team as a whole, and will look to complement the talents of the rest of the coaching staff. Bickerstaff has 39 years of coaching experience.
