Kobe’s shot was pure DETERMINATION; one of the greatest wins of his career?

monster1Every once in a while Lakers fans have to hear about the LeBron’s and the Wade’s and all the other opinions on the greatest in the game. Maybe one day, long from now, people and media alike will realize how special this man is. One day, maybe they will look back when Kobe is retired and remember the stories and epic tales of his career.

Maybe one day they will talk about night’s like these…

“I swear to you, because I couldn’t feel my legs one bit, not at all. And when they started chanting that, it just reminded me of what we’re playing for and where we’re playing.”

Kobe even talked about this victory being among one of his best, “I rank this right up there with one of the biggest road games we’ve had since I’ve been a Laker,” said Bryant. Simply amazing.

  • kobe-wan kenobi

    kobe deserves another title
he is amazing, despite media do not recognize it enough and just put bron on the spot
if only everyone else in the team played with his determination and effort…..!!!!! A ring would be easy to win

  • lakerschamps-09

yea just a great sho i think smith fouled em too thats y kobe kinda doubled clutched but yea he was way toooo tired… now they should do a puppet thing where they talk bout the last two shots bron n kobe made

  • Jason

Kobe is simply the best, ever and I hope every one really enjoys his stay with us while it lasts. THIS YEAR IS OUR YEAR!!!

    IDK ABOUT JORDAN,LE BRON,WADE..
ALL I CARE ABOUT IS KINGKOBE WINNING A CHAMPIONSHIP…

KOBE THE BEST LAKERS EVER.. DONT THINK SO? DONT CARE!!!

  • WifelovesLuke

Kobe is great, but not the greatest. YET! MJ still holds that title. Lebron can’t be in that conversation until he wins something.

I, for one, love that the media is hating on Kobe and is so in love with the prince. It’s going to be the fuel Kobe needs to win 2 or 3 more rings. Then we can watch another Nike commercial with the puppets except it will sound something like this “Lebron, did you catch the unstoppability of me being unstoppable while I earned my 4th championship ring? I was unstoppable!”

Denver fans are funny. The man dropped back to back 40+ games on your beloved Nuggets, and you chant “Kobe Sucks”?

  • PauLAsol

can you stop something that is unstoppable??!!!!

  • ooop

that is the last thing you want to see if youre on the other team, i would turn around and run the opposite way if i saw that mug, kobe will get his mvp this year in the finals.

Did anyone ever see the movie “Enter the Dragon” with Bruce Lee? He’s getting ready to fight an opponent, who proclaims “I can break a block of wood with my bare hands”. Bruce replies, “yes, but wood doesn’t hit back”. Forget all those ‘not-contested’ circus shots that LeBron has been making from the stands, sitting down, behind the basket, etc. in practice. Kobe’s shots, ALL OF THEM, are 100% contested. LeBron can’t do that, and never will. This was definitely one of Kobe’s greatest games, if not the greatest. He ran on 100% empty in Mile High, carried his team, PURELY WILLED a victory. The rest of the Lakers need to be inspired from this. SHOW UP friggin’ Lakers. You’re playing alongside the greatest EVER. Have some respect.

Kobe sucks… the air and life out of the Nuggets.

What a bunch of lowlife morons.

I love watching idiots, like the Thuggets, go down in flames.

Long live Lakers’ brains and class!

    I pick K-Retard (stutterin’ mofo).

on the previous 3 that kobe missed jr smith fouled him, didn’t foul him on this shot. but you can see kobe knew he was tired. when you are tired you need to give extra strength to your shot, and you do so through your legs. so kobe kicks with his legs to get that extra umph.

the denver nuggests are going down in flames yet. still along way to go. but there definitely is a momentum shift.

did anyone read that article in sports illustrated.com? it said the nuggets are confident, because they know if it wasn’t for a few bad calls and two bad inbounds passes they would be up 3 – 0. what a belittleing statement.
they should write that up on the white board.
    pump our team up.

if anything, wiht jr smith running through the jump ball, we should be up 3 – 0.

“KOBE SUCKS” HAHA NICE JOB DENVER FAGGETS

  • KEVIN 0

HEY ilikebasketball “sports illustrated.com? it said the nuggets are confident, because they know if it wasn’t for a few bad calls and two bad inbounds passes they would be up 3 – 0.”
DUDE SERIOULSY THOSE FAGS OD SPORTS ILLUSTRATSHYT I MEAN IF HORRY WOUDLNT MADE THE SHOT AGAINST THE KINGS, IF MAGIC WOULD’VE MISSED THE SKYHOOK, IF, IF, IF, IF IT WASNT FOR THOSE SHOTS THEN THE NBA WOULD BE A PIECE OF CRAP THOSE SHOTS SEPARATES GREAT TEAMS FOR GOOD TEAMS.

YOU ARE THE SHYT MAN THATS 101% TRUE LEBRONY
WOULD MAKE ANY CONTESTED SHOTS LIKE KOBE DOES

  • RN

Oh, and the lucky winning shot from Lebron James. OMG, the media just hyped up about it. Let me say this with 1 second left all you do is just catch it and threw it in and hope for your luck to come. It is not that he has to work has for that shot like the KOBE has to do all most on all of his shots. Just like D-Fish made the 0.4 winning shot. It is pure luck, media get your heads straight. He can shoot 53% from the field because the don’t put the whole team defense on Lebron James. Orlandos, give Lebron a lot of space if they give Kobe that much of space Kobe sure can drop 81 point all series long. Everyone work their ass of in guarding KOBE.
In the eyes of an average person, one can’t see beyond his ability.

MJ had his tongue-out-hanging face as his trademark determined look. i think kobe has spent some time in front of the mirror to perfect his severe underbite trademark look of determination. maybe his sponsors put him up to it.
