Doesn’t sound too good…

RealGM: Teams, including the Mavericks, that want to inquire about Kobe Bryant’s availability and price tag have a perfect opportunity later this week at the NBA’s Board of Governors meeting in New York. Los Angeles Lakers ‘ owner Dr. Jerry Buss is expected to attend, as is Mavericks’ owner Mark Cuban.

That will probably be the day kobe gets traded… all the other owners have to do is get buss liquered up and find him some good looking hooker and deal done!!!

  • Skim.

Oh crap not this again… How is it when everything begins to settle down crap like this happens again. Looks as if the NBA is looking for ways to trade Kobe. The timing is just too good.

  • MILO

Get it done!!!I’ll miss Kobe but life has to go on.Hey maybe they should! trade him to the Clipps.Maggete,Thornton, filler and maybe a pick.Maggete always get’s his fouls cause the officials dont hate on him like they do on Kobe so it will realy healp the Lakers.Plus Kobe will remain in LA and we’ll still be able to see alot of him.Let’s get this overwith you old drunk even if you regret it for the rest of your life, stop playing with the future of our beloved Lakers…

that was the dumbest idea, the lakers wont get better with a magette and thorton trade for kobe, and FYI kobe is worth much more than that sir!! THe CHicago trade sounds so wonderful to my ears, kobe will have a bigger and better chance of getting another ring out in the east, especially with a reliable big man like wallace at his side. both chi-town and the city of angels will prosper through this trade. Lakers get NOCIONI, GORDON, THOMAS, and the rook NOAH, while BULLS stick with their WALLACE, HINRICH, DENG, SMITH, AND the better in red BRYANT!! YESSSSSSS!!!

I’m getting tired of this. I think I’m gonig to stop going to this site for awhile because it’s brought more drama into the situation at hand. It’s time move forward and look at the upcoming season. Stop speculating and just focus on the Lakers winning basketball games.

I wanna post about Laker games, wins, loses, plays, stats, and more. I know the admins of the site will do whatever it takes to gain more hits by posting many rumors out there having to do with Kobe Bryant. But some of us have to admit, we are geting pretty fed up with this. The KG deal, the JO deal, and Kobe going away has pretty much drained me. There has not been a trade that I remember since Butler and Atkins for Kwame Brown. I don’t know when the Lakers will ever make a trade. It seems like upper management want to stick with core guys because they believe what they have now will be legitimate playoff contenders.

i am a hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee lakers fan i love kobe to death, i was at the game vs the bobcats just looking at kobes face he does not want to be here at all so we need to trade him for a equal trade

  • Jrich

The Lakers have sucked ass everytime Kobe is in the lineup for the first 5 games of the pre-season. I went to the game last night against the Clippers. The Lakers were down by 7 and Kobe was in the game for practically the whole first quarter. Once Farmar came in, the Lakers went on a nice run… like 14-2 or something and got the lead back. Out went Farmar, in came Kobe towards the end of the 2nd quarter. Lakers lost the lead and were down by 7 at the half.

So it doesn’t really matter if Kobe is here or not. Just get Agent Zero next year!

  • MILO

Arvincible, no one is going to offer the Lakers what Kobe is worth.Everyone is going to wait the Lakers out until they become even more desperate. So basicly i think that the offers will only get worse if the Lakers wait till it’s almost time for Kobe to opt out.So as more and more time goes bye the Lakers will be in scramble mode trying to pull of a decent trade for Kobe. The Bulls will continue to hold out untill the Lakers take watever they offer them so why not trade him or just give him away to the Clippers (if you will)this way we’ll have two teams to cheer for in LA……SO WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THAT MR.GM! YES I SAID IT FOR KOBE IM MORE THEN WILLING TO BECOME A CLIPPER FAN OR ANY OTHER TEAM HE MIGHT BE TRADED TO FOR THAT MATTER, SO YOU KNOW WHAT GET OFF MY F-U-C-K-E-N NUT’S

This week will be a very important wk but if i were the lakers if i´m going to move KB24 might as well do it now.
Here´s what i have to say about this
” If we are to move Kobe then do it now WE HAVE TO MOVE ON!!! “

  • lakerfan81

Kobe is not going to get traded, at least not right now. Buss is not going to make the same mistake that was made when shaq was traded. Which means that he is going to require at least somewhat comparable talent in return (obviously you can’t match the talent) and cap space. This means that any deal with Chicago starts with Deng and probably Gordon or Heinrich. Any deal with Dallas starts with Dirk (which is not going to happen no way and I wouldn’t do it anyways). Any deal with the suns starts with Barbosa, Amare,Bell + Atlantas 08 pick. All of these teams are in win now mode and are serious contenders for a championship this year (Chicago is as far as any team in the east is anyways). So none of them are going to want to break up their team even for Bryant. Kobe won’t go to any other team that has the talent to at least interest the Lakers. So what does it amount to Kobe is basically untradeable (at least for now after the season might be a different story). This whole thing will eventually blow over (assuming the Lakers don’t get off to a horrible start) at least until the end of this year.

With all these trade rumors, why isn’t there gossip for a swap between kobe and gilbert arenas plus salary fillers? Arenas has declared he will opt out after this year and has shown an interest in playing for his hometown team. Kobe will be reunited with one of his very limited number of friends in the league, Caron Butler, and he will also team up with Antawn Jamison.

The Lakers get a bonafide younger superstar to fill those seats and also allow the younger core time to develop with each other. Meanwhile the Wizards get a monster trio of Caron Butler, Kobe Bryant, and Antawn Jamison.

I know Kobe has a trade kicker and a no trade clause but, if he really wants out, the Wizards would be perfect for both the Lakers and Kobe. It’s in the East coast so we only play him twice a year and don’t forget about Arenas’ 60 point performance against the Kobester. Additionally, Kobe gets a contending team in the so called “weak” East (although they’ve closed that gap considerably). Everyone knows Kobe has no equal value but, Arenas comes close enough.

Somebody please tell the Lakers front office about this! I don’t think it would be hard to convince all parties involved that this is the best scenario for our Lakers. Don’t settle for Ben Gordon or Luol Deng, or Josh Howard. None of those guys come close to Kobe or Arenas.

yea but all trades that are accepted by both teams means nothing if kobe does not want to go there so in the end kobe has final word and we all know that but does he really want to go to washington i mean idk i dont think hes going anywhere
