Kobe will return to the hoop church of Madison Square Garden tomorrow and ESPN did a little research on Kobe’s return. Last year, New York fans misse out on Kobe as he was suspended by the controversial, “un-natural basketball act.” I’m glad this year the league won’t let them miss out on the most explosive player in the game…

ESPN: Happy Anniversary, Isiah Thomas! Saturday marks four years in charge of the Knicks and Sunday’s reward is a visit from Kobe Bryant, who has a thing for Madison Square Garden.

This will be Bryant’s 10th trip to MSG, where he’s averaging 34.3 points on 51.4 percent shooting in his past four visits. And he figures to be especially motivated after losing out on his only chance to play there last season thanks to that one-game suspension for striking San Antonio’s Manu Ginobili. Kobe’s last MSG appearance was Jan. 31, 2006, when he went for 40 in a 130-97 cruise for the Lakers.

And just in case anyone under estimates the Knicks let me remind you that this troubled team was able to beat the Cav’s a night before Lakers lost to them so let’s not count our chick’s before they hatch.Randolph creates alot of problems for us for some strange reason and Curry did good against Bynum last season so let’s hope we catch them in a bad night.Over-all they have talented guy’s Marbury Crawford i just dont understand what the hell is going on with them???

I hope just coz kb likes to play in msg, he doesn’t start shooting every time he touches the ball like he did in Phili. He should shoot limited increasing his fg percentage, and only shoot jumps, you know not make it worse in the injury. and most of all, I am hoping for the bench to step up again. can’t wait to c bynum.
