Tonight, Kobe Bryant passed Dominique Wilkins for 10th place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list with 26,671 points. Kobe is now one of only three guards in the top 10 scoring ranks.

Great to see a Kobe Bryant milestone accompanied by a Lakers win. Congratulations to the Black Mamba on another historic accomplishment.

Should Kobe average around 25 points per game to continue this season, he’ll reach the #6 mark, currently held by Moses Malone.

The  all-time points list currently stands at:

1. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar 38,387
2. Karl Malone 36,928
3. Michael Jordan 32,292
4. Wilt Chamberlain 31,419
5. Shaquille O’Neal 28,434
6. Moses Malone 27,409
7. Elvin Hayes 27,313
8. Hakeem Olajuwon 26,946
9. Oscar Robertson 26,710
10. Kobe Bryant 26,671
11. Dominique Wilkins 26,668

Kobe is the man. Keep climbing the ladder, baby! Big O is next.
By the end of the season there will only be one of the top 6 who didn’t score at least some of their points in purple and gold.

CONGRATS KOBE! Great to see a Lakers win and it’s icing to have Kobe achieve a milestone at the same time.

Don’t see it happening this season, but it would be MONUMENTAL to see Kobe surpass the BIG CROSS EYES in the leprechaun uniform while both are active players next season… assuming that there is a next season.

What would make that better is to see Kobe do it in a game that he and THE BIG HAS BEEN are both playing in, which would probably be the Celd!cks!

    GO LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kobe just keeps winning and breaking records and he’s only 32. Given this he should break more records and win more titles. There is only one comparison left Jordan or Kobe. KiDDAA Magazine takes Kobe for his spirit and the fact its a modern record ongoing.

Man, if Kobe averages 25 pts a game about 2025pts a season for the next 6 seasons he could own the title of most pts scored in the NBA. I hope his body can persevere and also add a few more titles for the Lakers.
I agree with jokkiii, top 3 in scoring should be a defining moment in his career.

Kobe will likey finish 6th this year and could pass Snaq if he ever decides to stop trying to cling to wanna-be champions!
