The “Black Mamba” has been in playoff mode lately aiding the Lakers to their 7th consecutive victory and 15-1 since the All-Star break. Along with Dwight Howard in the East, Kobe has been named the Western Conference Player of the Week. Here’s a glimpse into what Kobe has done recently:

Bryant paced the league in scoring, averaging 36.3 points, in leading the Lakers to a 3-0 week. In the process, Los Angeles extended its winning streak to seven games. On March 22, Bryant scored a season-high 42 points to go along with 12 rebounds and nine assists in a triple overtime victory over the Suns. It was the 107th 40-point game of his career.

Not bad considering Kobe recently sprained his ankle a few weeks ago against Dallas; calling it the “worse sprain” of his career. The Lakers have 10 games remaining on the schedule and look poised for a very strong playoff and championship-defense run.

Congrats to KB24.
