Kobe recently signed a two year, $48 million extension with the Lakers before returning from Achilles surgery. In 6 games this season, averaging 13.8 points, 6.3 assists, and 5.7 turnovers per game.
The Lakers are 12-13, and have serious injury concerns in the backcourt. Along with Kobe Bryant, point guards Steve Nash, Steve Blake, and Jordan Farmar are all out of the lineup.
