No need for him to play now, he should take the game off.

ESPN: “He’s anticipating [playing],” Lakers coach Phil Jackson said after his team’s practice Saturday.

“It depends on how he feels,” Jackson said. “He may be very live tomorrow and feel great. We’ll see how he plays. He obviously wanted to compete, so we’ll see how he plays.”

“We talked about it on the plane last night and [Bryant] said “I have every intention of playing, I just hope it progresses as well as its going,'” Jackson said.

This is good news. Hopefully, this means there's some actual conviction about getting home court back from Orlando. It looks doubtful now, but there's always a chance.

i'll be pissed if he still shoots 20% a game

No I think he should play because we want to have a better record than Orlando if we meet in the Finals again.

it doesn't matter. We have homecourt against them if we meet in the finals if our records tie. For we have a better record against the east then they do against the west. So even if they win out and we do as well, we will get homecourt.

I still have not figured this out. This is what I thought however a significant amount of people say that it is the record against your own conference first. A significant amount of people also say what you are saying. I'm not sure which one it is.

Why is Kobe still playing. He should just rest until the playoffs. Poor decision. Kobe is now one dimensional player, which is a post player. Kobe will never admit, but he's getting old and he doesn't have that lift that he used to. Shut him- off until the playoffs.
