Kobe, Bynum to play tomorrow vs. Warriors; Luke out indefinetely

It seems that Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum will play tomorrow, while Luke Walton has a pinched nerve in his back which will keep him out with no return date as of now. Thanks to this information from tweets from O.C. Register’s Kevin Ding and L.A.Times’ and Mike Bresnahan.

On Kobe

Guess the rest agreed with Kobe. He is in full team scrimmage right now … And his team just won on Fish jumper.

Kobe and Bynum practiced today, will play tomorrow against Warriors. Luke Walton, however, being shut down indefinitely because of back pain

On Bynum

Bynum says less pain in bruised hip and he will play tomorrow vs. GSt, tho he didn’t feel great during scrimmage.

On Luke

Walton has same pinched nerve in back and — to be frank — is unlikely to help rest of season. Could affect trading Morrison.

Get rid of Luke, been injured since who knows when.

Boy I realy thought Luke was a good Back up but now im realy starting to lose faith in him

  • 09champs!

Wow, i thought Luke was healthy, this is the same pinched nerve he had surgery on. :S

Regarding the trade, i dont think it affects too much trading morrison, but look: We would be getting Hinrich a PG, so instead of sasha and ammo going, how bout ammo and jordy going? Sasha can play the 3 and we would have 3 pgs , 4 with shannon if jordan stays.

Thats not good about Luke! Same injury too… hope he is okay.

Surprised Andrew back so soon but I was sure Kobe would play (if not Thursday).

Will they just get rid of luke, morrison, sasha, and powell if u ask me, wouldn’t mind trading bynum cuz i dont see him doing anything here in the near future he cant play defense and grab rebounds and he’s a 7 footer…

    • WINLESS

Then add Bosh, Hinrich, D-Wade and LeBron right????

  • Kobe “Kaos” Jordan

How the hell did Luke “dumb-ass” Walton hurt himself?! This bum is such a waste of time, talent and (most importantly) money.

    I’d still suck his dick.

  • Luke makes me Puke

OK Luke, time for you to step up for the team – retire after this season so we can use your money to get someone of value. You to work in your restaurant!

    • nba10

lol hilarious and yet so true. Lakers should call up tony gaffney if they trade ammo so they can have a guy for cheap that can contribute. Seriously cant they just agree on a buyout with luke. Expensive and yet useless..

  • WINLESS

I feel badly for Luke. He inherited some bad genes from his injury prone Hall of Fame dad. When he’s healthy he’s a pretty good, serviceable, role player that knows how to play team basketball. That’s why PJ likes his game even though he’s a defensive liability. I sure hope he gets well and continue his career here or maybe somewhere else. It’d be tough to end your career on an injury and at such a young age. Good luck, Luke!

Thats it with Luke, hes always hurt!!! Maybe he wants to be hurt so we cant trade him, like if any other team wants him.
