According to Hoopsworld.com’s Alex Kennedy, Lakers star Kobe Bryant along with many of his fellow NBA stars will be heading on an international tour that includes stops in Puerto Rico, London, Macau, and Australia. (October 30th-November 9th)
The following players have signed agreements:
Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Derrick Rose, Chris Paul, Amar’e Stoudemire, Chris Bosh, Rajon Rondo, Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin, Russell Westbrook, Carlos Boozer, Paul Pierce, Kevin Love, Tyson Chandler, and Kevin Garnett are expected to participate in the two-week, six-game tour.
The tour is set to start on Saturday with the first game being played in Puerto Rico.
Calvin Darden, an Atlanta business mogul, is considered the man most responsible for organizing the games. According to the report he worked with all the players agents and received funding from various individuals in each of the four cities that will host games.
The question I’m sure you are asking yourself is, “Will I be able to watch it on TV?”
That is a possibility, but nothing is official yet. Most likely the games will be broadcasted online rather than on television.
