so lets not only negatives can come from this they are already over the cap with a bunch of young players who will want to be resigned anyways

if that was Luke and it was the Lakers organziation in that situation, other teams would be lining up to screw us.
And besides Portland never trades with us anyways so why does it matter if we screw them? they're our biggest competition for the next 5 years in the West.
We can re-sign Ariza for the full MLE.
