It seems like teams melt down after they play the Lakers on the second night of back-to-back road games. Not that it's an easy place to win, but the Hornets got crushed by the Jazz at the Delta Center (or whatever it's called now) last night. On the other hand, we shook off the loss and beat the same team (Warriors) that beat the Celtics after we beat the Celtics on Christmas Day. Teams drain themselves playing the Lakers. The end result of the Hornets loss - a split for us and a split for them. We're still up 2-1 in the season's series against them and still up 5 games in the loss column. Plus we are tied for the best record in the NBA and have beaten much tougher opponents overall than the Cavs. I'll take that every time.
