EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- Tests showed Lamar Odom's right knee injury is not serious, and the Los Angeles Lakers forward is day to day.
Odom, injured late in the second quarter of Tuesday night's 116-105 loss to New Orleans, was examined by team physician Dr. Steve Lombardo on Wednesday. An MRI revealed a bone bruise in the knee.
Odom did not travel for Wednesday night's game at Golden State, but could return as early as Friday when the Lakers play host to Indiana.
The 29-year-old forward scored 12 points in 13 minutes before being injured Tuesday. He is averaging 8.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 26.2 minutes per game.

our medical staff better not f(!) this up.....
day to day on lakers terms means out for 6 months.
I see faith in your eyes
never you hear the discouraging lies
broken is the promise, betrayal
the healing hand held back by deepened nail
follow the god that failed

lol^ our medical staff sucks, we needa send a spy or kobe needs to ask shaq how phoenix keeps their players healthy
Good news. We can get justifiably frustrated with Lamar and Luke; but, having both of them out at the same time is not what this team needs.

Good. Yesterday's game showed how valuable he is to this team. We don't need him for GS, so it's good that he'll have time to rest.
How so?
He was out for the night by the time we got our FIRST lead...

I'm BAAACCCKKKKK!!!

He also wasn't there when we blew the lead. He knows how to defend West and did a decent job on him while he was out there. How so?

If that didn't translate into a lead before, what makes you think it would have then?
And LO hasn't shown the ability to turn it on in pressure situations. I'm not seeing any corollaries.
Truth?
NOH made the similar runs in the first and second games. Difference? We were up by so much that the run came up short.
This time? They weren't down much which allowed them to push it past our "hold-on" threshold...not LO's absence or presence.

I'm BAAACCCKKKKK!!!
