i think it was complete
.
It was complete
that we couldn't play defense, and couldn't make a single wide-open shot in the fourth.
I think it was a combination of both. More blame on the Lakers though, as we didn't attack the basket when we should have and did not utilize our two seven-footers in the paint.

But the refs did not make the Lakers miss open shots. Thats why we lost.

If you blame that loss on the refs, please don't wail on LeBron for crying at the refs. I know he did it on a bigger scale but you can't laugh at him for it and then turn around and blame it on them.
There were a few bad calls, like the Fisher layup where he got absolutely hammered.. He even got a tech! I haven't seen Fish get that angry at a ref before.
But the fact of the matter is, the 4th quarter. The Lakers forced up alot of desperation 3's when they shoulda played their game. It happens, losses happen. Trust me, I know. I'm a Clipper fan.
Respect me and I'll respect you. Don't respect me... we'll cross that bridge when we get there

That being said, the refs were horrible tonight. Every call went in the Hornet's favor but guess what, YOU HAVE TO PLAY THROUGH IT. But yes, the reffin' was horrible. But not the sole reason we lost.

The Lakers had sooo many chances to win the game.

Only 2 fouls on NO in the 4th quarter. The Lakers did not shoot a single free throw the entire final frame.
We didn't play great in the 4th. We missed a lot of open looks. But, it still would've been nice to shoot at least one free throw.

LA fans have a victim mentality. You're responsible for your own fate. Stop crying. The league has more incentive with LAL winning anyways. There's no global conspiracy.

You're telling me that game last night was fair game the whole way?Stop crying about the refs.

Sometime you got to question what you see.

The officiating is always unfair when you lose, and always fair when you win. When your team jacks up 34 3pters, don't expect to get to the line as much as your opponent who only takes 14.You're telling me that game last night was fair game the whole way?

I'm sure we are the ONLY fans in the league to have that kind of mentality after a LOSS...
as for the refs.. chris paul was untouchable. Slight bumbs = whistle. The refs didn't cost us the game though. Trevor should've drove in instead of jacking up 3s... he did have an open baseline on a few occasions. Kobe should have stayed in the game as well, sitting him really killed us and our momentum.

Take away 2 of those unnecessary threes and dump the ball into Andrew or take it to the hoop and that game was totally different.
Blaming the refs is the first resort of second place.
