In case anyone is wondering, Kevin Durant does not view himself as an All-Star just yet.

Despite being sixth on the league scoring list, Durant said he does not believe he should be an All-Star this season because his team is not winning, according to a report by The Oklahoman.

"No, I don’t think so,” Durant said when asked if he feels he should be an all-star. "Because one of the requirements is that the team’s got to win. That’s a big part of being an all-star, leading your team to victories. Hopefully, before I’m done in this league I can be one of those, but right now I’m just trying to help this team turn it around and get better.”

Statistically, he is. But his team isnt doing much to make him standout

they have a very good base to their team with jeff green, russell westbrook, kevin durant but what their really missing is an inside presence which blake griffin or hasheem thabbeet can solve or a true point guard which they are hoping russell can become

He's right. I'm sure there's someone else on a better team that deserves it more than him and perhaps an even better player.

I know they're not the same position whatsoever, but if Pau indeed gets screwed, man.

He has a bright future. I feel bad that he's on the worst team of the league.

He may not be an All-Star yet, but he's definitely going to be on more than one All-Star squad in the future. Dude is gong to be a superstar in the league.

I can't think of too many small forwards who are better though. Maybe Carmelo, but Durant is having a superior year in regards to shooting. Durant is definitely better than Gay (who is averaging 20).

Sorry kid, you're going to make it!

All the top small forwards are in the Eastern Conference (Caron, Granger, Shard, Josh Smith, Pierce, Lebron).
Gooden>> Lamar Odom. Mo Williams>> Ray Allen>> Gasol. Nene= Gasol.

This dude is very talented and he'll go far in this league. Too bad his current team plays pretty bad.

Kevin Durant is an All-Star type talent right now, with SUPER SUPER star potential. I'd happily vote for him as a SF in the All-Star game.
