Anyone else hear that just now? When one of the reporters asked him what internal reasons is he talking about, Phil replied "none of your business". Was Luke actually hurt or something else going on?

I think a trade could be going down soon. Remember what Marc Stein said Luke could be used as a trading piece! If it is a trade hopefully we get someone better then Luke

Its very interesting to say the least. This is the report on Luke Walton:

Lakers F Luke Walton didn't play because of inflammation in the big toe on his right foot

But I for one did not see Luke on the bench tonight or behind it. Maybe I missed him idk. But very wierd comments by Phil Jackson.

I heard he was injured, the lakers announcers said he was injured when they started talking about the starting lineup.

The internal reasons comment is likely due to Ariza > Vlad, as opposed to an issue with Walton.

According to Matt "Money" Smith, it has to do with an abnormality with webbed feet or something and he's going to a "foot specialist" tomorrow. It was strange that he wasn't at the game though. I was there and didn't see him. I'd rather see them trade Buzz Kill, who had a rare decent game tonight.

For what it's worth - heard he could be out a while depending on the Dr's visit.
