QUOTE ("Jerry Buss")
One of the biggest reasons I bought the Lakers was to beat the Celtics …..you just got it into your soul that you couldn't stand the Celtics anymore

no Laker fool, Pau is better at them at passing and getting others involved, by your logic, Luke is better than Ariza, Pau cant score with those two and he isnt as athletic, strong, or beastly as those two plus a one-man show
look at these stats
http://www.nba.com/g...2003/index.html
he had some solid players around him, and multiple guys scoring in multi figures

Offenses don't go around Luke. Luke never gets doubled and never will. So that's a bad comparison.

Pau has a hot night, you double him, he'll pass out of it to a cutting guard. So even if you double him, you cannot really stop him. He led his Spanish Olympic team to a silver medal as well.

Amare's statistics are greatly inflated by Phoenix' system, and Jefferson also has an awful points per FG attempt. Jefferson averages about 23, but has to take 20 shots to get there. Jefferson and Amare are both ball hogs if anything. In comparison, Pau averages about 18 and takes only 12 shots per game, thus a much more efficient scorer. Actually for Pau's career, he averages 14 shots per game, nowhere near the 19 Jefferson is now.
Gooden>> Lamar Odom. Mo Williams>> Ray Allen>> Gasol. Nene= Gasol.
