This is probably my all time greatest game.

I just got an emu. for the mac that allows me to play off the PS1 disk's (which I have, legally).

I am going through it again and I love it.

Anyone else ever played through it?

Played through it fully like 8 times. Loved it more as each time passed since I knew more and more of what to do.
FFIII is still my favorite FF game.

I played it around the first time it came out. Pretty much the first game I ever had for the Playstation. I've always been good at video games and as I grew older I started to appreciate it more and more that I've been able to play this game. Still my favorite Final Fantasy game and the only Final Fantasy game I completed. Haven't played it in years though.

yea, wow, that brings back memories, took awhile to build up enough to get through battle square...

and yea, i think alexander might have been one of those ones that if you missed it, you couldn't go back and get it later, i remember it was somewhere in the snow i just forget exactly what you had to do to get it

I remembered I didn't know how to get Vincent, so I ended up finishing the game without him.

Wonder if this is a good feat: I tallied lvl 60-70+ on disc 1 alone and obtained Omnislash via the arena or whatever that was called together on disc 1. I remembered training extensively outside NIbelhiem...:P

I loved the game. It's a tragedy what they did by following it up with Dirge of Cerberus on the PS2, that game was horrible.

Still, I think I gotta go with Final Fantasy IX as my favorite in the series as it was my first Final Fantasy game. X was really good, VIII was amazing but I lost my PS1 memory card near the end of Disc 3 and lost motivation to go through all that again so I never finished it, I never got into the older ones, and XII was a disappointment.

Not confirmed yet...it's a given for PS3 though. And bottom line is this: Official Remake is not announced AT ALL. Until after FFXIII is done then expect there to be any such news.
