Luke has been playing well, but wow... if they traded him, Mitch deserves GM of the year for that alone. I didn't think it was possible to trade that contract for anything other than an equally awful contract.
As much as Luke has impressed me (and believe me, anything positive he does impresses me at this point), keeping him would hurt the Lakers' chances of resigning more valuable players to the squad. If someone has to go, it has to be him.
