Who will Lakers be signing? Who Will they be letting go? Will Kobe Opt out and take a pay cut? Will Kobe Opt out and demand a pay raise? Will Lakers resign Lamar Odom, or let him go? Will Trevor Ariza sign a small deal or listen to deals with bigger offers? Will the team let Sun Yue go? What do you think will happen in the summer after this season?

Even if we don't resign Odom, Mihm and Ariza, we will still be 3 millions over the cap in july What can we do with that? Especially with all those good players who will be FA next summer

If Kobe takes a 3 million dollar pay cut, we can sacrifice going over the salary without to much hurt. Sign Ariza for 3.5 million for the next x amount of years and Odom for 2.5 for 1 year. Some team would pick up Odom for the beautiful contract and Odoms numbers in a trade. I wouldn't mind taking a scrub for one year to clear up that cap space and having the team still in tact. Mihm, DJ, and Powell don't have much of an effect. for the playing time they get it's not smart to resign them

wow, looking at that, we only have one bad contract.

If we don't trade Odom, we'll probably resign him for 8 million a year. Ariza will be resigned for 6-7 million.

Kobe won't take a paycut, Odom thinks he's an all star, and Ariza will catch on how good he is would probaly ask for 5-6 if we're lucky. If Kobe does opt out, the likeley thing he would be doing is shopping his value and we'll probaly have to sign him for more. Odom would want a Maggette like contract

1. Dr. Buss has already gone public and said that he will pay whatever it takes to sign Kobe to another long term deal. The Lakers can sign him for a longer contract and more money than any other team. He'll stay.

2. LO will go. We don't need him.

3. Ariza will be signed to an extension before anyone else has a chance to sign him. The coaching staff loves him and he keeps getting better and will get more and more minutes.

4. Beyond that, it would be nice to sign Josh Powell to a 2 year deal and I think they will show patience with Sun Yue and pick up the team option for next year.

During the 2000-02 championship runs, the Lakes were relatively thin on talent after the core 8. Take LO out of the current rotation and that's what we'll have. The maturity of Ariza and Bynum will allow for that.

Let Mihm go, kobe will take a pay-cut, he's at a point in his career when he just wants to go down with as many rings as possible, he knows he's gotten enough money for his grandkid's kids not to work, 3 million isn't gonna bother him much, he'll take the cut to keep this championship caliber team together, and LO will also take a cut, he wants to stay a Laker and he's said it before that he's willing to take pay-cuts to stay wit the lakers. Ariza will most likely be signed at 6m million seeing as though, he's just starting to make money and he needs to keep making it, unless he's really unselfish he'll take the 6m.

In a Perfect World

• Kobe Opts out during the Summer and takes a 5 million dollar pay-cut.
• Ariza signs for 13.5 million for 3 years (about 4.5 a year)
• Lamar Odom takes a huge pay check and signs for 5 million for 1 year

Lakers would still be over the salary cap in this case, but Lakers are willing to spend this money. I can almost say that Kobe will not opt out to take a pay cut, and Ariza will probably get more than 4.5 a year, seeing what Luke Walton got a couple years ago. That still leaves Lamar Odom, Mihm (Drop), DJ (Drop), SUN YUE(pick up contract?), and Powell? I really see one huge player leaving next season, all signs point to Lamar Odom.

I will make a Kobe Poll and see what really Happens. I want it to happen but I don't think it will.

kobe will get a deal of something like 8 years...150 million, with the last two being player option and of course a no-trade clause, odom will take a pay cut, 2 years 18.5, ariza will get a six-year 33 million deal, vlad rad will be traded on draft night..realistically, plus mihm wont be resigned, also Odom could go, if Josh powell improves, or A team closer to New York really wants him

I have a feeling Lakers will sign and trade Lamar Odom. So in toher words they will be signing him for a cheap deal and try to get a little something out of it.
