all i said was young uns stay out i dont want to smell the breastmilk on their undereducated mouths, i respect those who speak knowlegable, but its not an act, this is me. But i agree with Ace aka jeezyBeast, Coop was a defensive specialist, he was built for it, the hustle plays, key rebounding, Ariza is like the second coming for what i can see

i'd say coop....no doubt that mj could lock you down, when he wanted to, but coop did that EVERY game...

I wouldn't call Ariza a defensive specialist. He's just a very good help defender/roamer and a guy that hustles 100% of the time out there. If there was a defensive assignment assigned to a Laker where they needed him to guard the other team's best player, it would still be Kobe, not Ariza.

well Ariza doesnt start but i have seen Ariza on a team's best defender before including Paul pierce and Allen Iverson, but i get what u are saying, i still think he is considered a defensive specialist

Cooper by a nose. Both were dpoy. Cooper could guard three positions and his length enabled him to harass shooters and passing lanes. Also, he avoided pics so easily due to his pencil like body. Hard to vote against MJ though since I never remember anyone getting the best of him more than once. Flip a coin.
