Anyone a little more excited about Mark's future after today's game?

I've always had high expectations for him. Strongest arm since Carson Palmer and he is a great leader. He will have a heisman type season next year. USC's offense is going to have a lot of fun with him at the helm. So many weapons to choose from, the only major piece we lose is Patrick Turner, but Damien Williams is going to be the #1 receiver next year and thats a good thing. Our entire line comes back so MS will have a lot of time to throw.

I hope Mark gets those Heisman numbers you think he is capable of. I also really hope USC can play Texas in the NT next season. Since I post in a Spurs forum, it's majority Longhorn fans, and you never hear the end of 2006.

Yeap, Mark is awesome. So proud of him obviously. The dude knows SOME Spanish, but he's currently still taking classes to get better. He wants to be able to do more local interviews, especially being that we're in such a huge latino market, and do em' better & more comfortably as well as potentially further down the line, probably opening up more marketing/cash opportunities.

I love the passion that he plays with more than anything. I don't remember Booty being even half as enthusiastic. & yeah some of y'all might be thinkin' but I bash KG so... but there's a difference, Mark's not a doosh taking cheap shots at the opponent and just overall being an arse hole. GO TROJANS!

I like Mark's enthusiasm. I'm not an SC fan at all but I really followed him all game and I love his energy and enthusiasm. I really like his athleticism and ability to throw on the run off play action and bootlegs. I have always been a fan of the guys who can throw perfect on the run rather than the pocket-passers. I look forward to Mark in the NFL.

I see faith in your eyes
never you hear the discouraging lies
broken is the promise, betrayal
the healing hand held back by deepened nail
follow the god that failed

poor Big Ten...this happens to them EVERY year.....SC gets a chip on their shoulder and they take it out of some unsuspecting mid west team

as for the Mays hit, i dunno about you guys but it looked more like a shoulder rather than helmet

At first I thought it was shoulder. But looking at the replays It looks like Mays may have gotten him with helmet on the top. Pause it at the 39-40 second mark. Its a tough call. But a great hit none the less.

yea man...you're right...he mighta caught him with the helmet....flag warranted.....

but its those types (not H2H per se) of hits that you need to deliver...makes wideouts hear footsteps next time they wander into the secondary like that..lol

And everyone was criticizing it, saying that it was dirty, but looking at the replay, Mays wasnt intending to deliver a helmet to helmet. He looks like he was going to nail him in the chest. Look at the replay again and watch the reciever as hes running up right, and then he catches it and he starts to bend his knees, thats when the hit occurs. Im sure Mays didnt intend to demolish his own teammate either lol.

i agree...it was unintentional...had Mays wanted to lead with the crown, that penn st wideout would still be asleep right now

Yeah I am too. A lot of great players moving on. I do love how a lot of different sports journalists are already saying that USC will not even be the top 10 next year.

USC doesn't rebuild, we reload and we have A LOT of new talent waiting for their chance. Sure our defense wont be as good this upcoming year, but in 2-3 years, they could potentially be on that same level.
