Phoenix point guard Steve Nash discussed his pending free agency in 2010 with NBC Sports on recently.

"There's a few situations out there that would be attractive, so I feel fortunate that there could be some possibilities for me," Nash said. "One would be for me to stay here in Phoenix. I've had a great 4 1/2 years here. New York, obviously, is our off-season home, so we love the city. It's a basketball mecca. Mike D'Antoni is there so there's a lot of attractive variables. And then Toronto, to go back to Canada to play for the home team, so to speak.

"I feel good that one of those three could really be a really strong possibility. Like I said, Phoenix would be the natural choice, just because I've been here and enjoyed success here and really feel at home here."

He attempted to keep his options open, though.

"Who knows who's going to be interested in two years?" Nash said.

No surprise there. The obvious choices of teams to sign with for 2010.

I have a strong hunch he'll be back with D'Antoni. The man who made him MVP twice.
Gooden>> Lamar Odom. Mo Williams>> Ray Allen>> Gasol. Nene= Gasol.

Me too.

I see LeBron, Nash and a mid-level salary player going to New York.

I just can't see Nash staying in Phoenix at all.

Same here, and he is a smart player. He'll be able to run on those older legs; especially with the youth core that New York is - surprise, surprise - starting to keep!

New York is looking good these days, eh?

new york will have nash, stodamire and possibly lebron, maybe bosh, or d-wade, either way, they will be scary
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

He'll probably be with the Knicks. His performance will be better there with D'Antoni as the coach and all the younger players around. Plus, LeBron might sign there as well.
