he was more talking about catch phrases then saying he killed hip hop.

like how he said lil wayne said he was the best rapper alive, and how TI said hes the king of the south. he brought up why people say hip hop is dead and thats because nas said it first. thats why he brought up how he was going to say"soulja boy tell em runs the internet" because he knows people will take anything a famous person will say and make it a fact when its not a fact.

Actually, Soulja Boy wasn't born rich or in that big house. He got discovered on the internet.

And the point he was really trying to get at was influential people saying things, such as Nas saying Hip-Hop was dead.

I don't get why so many people dislike him so much, yet still post any story that has to do with him and post in the threads. That's like hating the hobo who sits next to you on the bus everyday on your way to work, yet you continuously sit next to him WHEN THERE ARE OTHER SEATS AVAILABLE.

Dislike the rapper but dig the fact that he produces, write and did all the net thang himself when other big wigs can't even form a sentence without a ghost writer nor string 2 beats together be it a clap and a bass.

That said he is still wack... Although I was doing that first dance from his 1st single.... GUILTY.. Youuuuuuu!!!

point is, more than half the mainstream rap out is lame

it's hip hop like nas' most recent album, untitled album/n.i.g.g.e.r., that salvage what's left/good about rap.

so screw soulja boy.

How is that the point when that's not what the thread is about?
