Yah sometimes you can't even tell if someone is drunk or not - unless you've had your fair share, I guess you can tell easily if they're just a bit buzzed.

I say this every time a celebrity gets a DUI:
You can AFFORD a driver. If I can afford to pay for a cab on a night when I want to get drunk, then you can afford to pay someone to drive you to and from your selected drinking establishment.
I don't get it. I really don't. If I could get trashed and have someone drive me home, I would. Why don't rich people understand this?

It's a fine line.
Usually if you're too drunk to drive, you know you can't.
However some people get too drunk to realize that they are too drunk to drive.

It's a fine line.
Usually if you're too drunk to drive, you know you can't.
However some people get too drunk to realize that they are too drunk to drive.
BadScooter is giving good advice.
It shouldn't be about "where to draw the line". But rather, if you are going to drink, arrange for a non-drinking driver. It can't be that hard.

a lot of people start drinking with the intention of driving home, whether they only intend to have a few drinks, or hanging out long enough to sober up their intentions are usually good. there really is a fine line between being able to drive safely and not...the difference between one more shot, or one more beer. the problem is that 9 times out of 10, people on that borderline who have experience drinking will believe they're fine and go ahead...

The cops stopped Barkley after he allegedly ran a stop sign. According to the officer who wrote the report, "He told me that he ran the stop sign because he was in a hurry to pick up the girl I saw get in the passenger seat."
The officer continues: "He asked me to admit that she was 'hot.' He asked me, 'You want the truth?' When I told him I did he said, 'I was gonna drive around the corner and get a blow job. He then explained that she had given him a 'b**w job' one week earlier and said it was the best one he had ever had in his life."

Charles Barkley told an officer following his arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol that he was in a rush because he was on his way pick up a "hot" girl for sex, according to a police report obtained by the Smoking Gun.
When Barkley was arrested in Scottsdale, Ariz., early Wednesday after running a stop sign, the former NBA forward allegedly told the officer: "You want to know the truth? I was gonna drive around the corner and get a b--- j--," according to the notes in the incident report.
