I don't know guys... With a 1-3 record over the last 4 games, the Celtics don't look like that "almighty" team that went on a 19-0 streak... They've lost their "immortality". I won't say that they're exactly shaken, but "grounded" for sure... atleast for now...

i have to agree with all those who said that this isnt a coincedence, but I also believe the Celtics brass will try to accomplish something to remedy his this bench. Lemme say this, if the Celtics suffer a key injury, as significant as Farmar's , they wont even be in the top two seeds in the East...also our Energy shall be HIGH, giving us an add advantage

Like I said twice in other threads before the Christmas game:

I think this game will be a momentum turner for both the Lakers and Celtics. Remember our early season game against Portland during our 3-peat years? We beat them and they went spiraling down and were never the same.


I'm with MDI on this one. I remember one season of our 3-peat years, both the Blazers and us had almost identical records going into a game in December or January I think. They were our heated and hated rivals, but after we won that game, the Blazers were never the same and we went on to win the title. One game can change momentum very quickly for a team


I just hope the trend continues.

Potential to be a big day for the Lakers. They just have to take care of business and beat a short handed Portland team.

The Lakers still aren't playing as well as they can, but they are certainly showing glimpses (like the first half vs. Utah). I just hope they keep playing hard and working on their weaknesses instead of getting comfortable with the huge lead they have in the West.
