LINK

Cavs, then Boston, then the Lakers.

I disagree but thought it was interesting.

The quote for the Cavs crack me up:

Even on a bad night like against Washington, with turnovers, poor shooting and defensive lapses the Cavs still find a way to win. That to me is makings of a championship team.

ESPN lives off of haterade. They don't seem to realize that the Cavs barely beat the Wizards. The Wizards! And with horrible officiating in the last 5-6 minutes.

Washington should have the last one in Cleveland. All the calls going Cavs way especially the foul on LeBron on the 3 point line

It's the damn Washington Wizards who won a mere 5 games this whole season.

Cmon Lakers fans.......... I thought we were better than this, especially you of all people LD2K!

Click on the Marc Stein rankings on that page for his own power rankings based on his opinions. He hasn't updated yet after the XMas game.

The link you gave is Hollinger's, where he doesn't actually use his judgment to rank the teams. He has a set formula he uses every year. You can argue how good the formula is, but that's not the point. His formula just automatically calculates and updates the rankings every single day...... cmon guys.

And the quoted little excerpt is not from him either, it's just a chosen comment from a random member since you can post there, to show what normal people are thinking.

I'm embarrassed for you guys.

Holinger uses his PER formula for his rankings. I never take his rankings seriously.

That's funny the Cavs are on top, who haven't even beaten a tough opponent all season long. You could say the Rockets, but there were some lopsided calls during that game against Yao Ming.

LeBron is just ESPN's and Stern's golden boy, what can you expect?

Although I hate the C's, the Lakers and them are 10x better than the Cavs.

LeBron will never win a ring, no matter how great his cast is.

I'd plow Vanessa Bryant.

Like previously said, Holinger's rankings aren't based on his opinion or judgement, his PER stats are what the computer ranks from 1-30. If you want real rankings, go here:

yea, i love that we are the underdog...our heads were getting to BIG
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers
