Damn, I didn't know there was that much of a disparity. You know, I love reading www.redsarmy.com, especially when they hate on the Lakers, it was perfect, December 25th. They swore like the Lakers would get blown-out. You don't know how many Lakers fans (they call them "trolls") arrived and shoved that win down Red's throat, lol. I love it. On the flip-side of things, however, the Boston Celtics still have a better record, and the Lakers are going to have to work harder in a much deeper Conference. Can't wait until Feb. 5th when these two teams grind it out again.

People give Boston too much credit. That stat stands LD2k pointed out stands out.

To me this stat means nothing. Look at the Packers this season. 5-10. Seven of the 10 losses were by 4 points or less, means nothing. Lakers could lose 82 games by 1 point each, and Celtics losing 12 games all season, totaling over 82 points, but who would be going to the playoffs at that point?

I think it's more of a stat that we aren't that far behind, if at all, in terms of overall team development, to the Celtics.

another stat, lakers are perfect this season when bynum blocks at least one shot. I was so happy when he blocked rondo's lay up in the 4th quarter, i knew right away we gonna win

So this sounds like the celtics win their close games. I don't like this stat even though it seems like it makes the lakers the better team.

why isnt any one quetioning the celtics mental toughness, after defensive breakdowns, and giving up a fourth quarter lead to the undermanned WARRIORS?
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers
