I just thought it was very scripted and fake.

Though, I love and admire KG's intensity.

Corny and fake. Just like that stupid Luke Walton/Bill Walton halftime thing they did a while ago

It was pretty dramatic. It kind of reminded me of a documentary I've seen before at school.

I don't know, I like it. KG seems like the type of guy that treats BBall like a religion.

No I agree... I just thought it was a "scripted" piece. KG's tone was definitely inspired by a script - feel me?

I love KG's attitude on basketball and you said it best, he treats it like a religion.

Oh definitely. He's not a very good script writer. They should have had KG talk naturally.

Yeah that's where I found it corny.

That's true. The thing is, as you guys said, knowing KG, this very well could have been his idea. Maybe HE wrote the script (because he treats bball like a religion haha) but we'll never know because he makes it very obvious that he's reading it.

But I like it, just as you said. I think it's a thoughtful idea.
I'm a DIE HARD Clippers fan, and proud. I respect the Lakers and watch them every chance I get.

Respect me and I'll respect you. Don't respect me... we'll cross that bridge when we get there :)

If they let him talk naturally, I don't think they'd be able to air it on ABC... esp with all that muthafuc** this muthafuc** that...

It did seem corny and scripted yet KG is a serious minded baller who knows how to play the game especially on the defensive end. I am still glad we kept Bynum though.

hahaha to me all the beach thing going on made it corny.

when it came on tv during halftime, one of my dad's friends was like Wow what does KG want next? An Oscar or Golden Globe in his hands. Is an NBA Final Championship not enough for this *bleep* *bleep* *bleep*

But ya other than that all the beach thing going on made it corny.
