True that. I expected Kobe to shoot a career high this year, but he was sucking... on purpose. That is, until he started wearing his new kicks. Now everyone will want em cuz he's so bombass in em. Smart as hell Kobe.

I'm not sure if anybody realizes this but since the Black Mamba started ballin' in the Zoom Kobe IV, he's been unbelievable. His numbers since the Dec. 19 debut of the ZK IV only 52% from the field, and 48% beyond the arc. That's crazy. It's simply unreal. Now I asked about a month ago what was wrong with Kobe--was it his legs, was it his form, was it simply that he might be saving himself. One of the possible answers I gave, was my friend Kelley actually suggesting that he was intentionally doing this as a grand marketing scheme from Nike. Now I seriously doubt this, but man does Kelley have a case for it now. If Kobe keeps this up for the rest of the season he actually has a shot to shoot 50% from the field, and over 40% from downtown. I wouldn't even know what to think about that. Holy crap Kobe, ridiculously beyond his career highs. Kobe for MVP.

Aight might as well post it again...

Kobe did say the shoes will make you jump higher and run faster just because the traction is excellent and they are the lightest shoes out there.

He is definitely proving it on the court.

His teammates and the team are playing a lot, so he doesn't have to carry the load on offense anymore.
