Think about it, he could be everything Lamar Odom was meant to be, minus the spectacular rebounding. He'd have mismatches every game because of his size, yet he's quick enough to hang with the other guards in the league. Maybe not the exceptionally quick guards (i.e Monta Ellis, Barbosa, Harris), but the majority of guards can be evenly matched in speed.
Also, from the few videos I've seen online, he can get to the rack and has a decent jumper. His three pointer needs work, but at his age, he has a LOT of time to develop a consistent perimeter shot.
I think it's a win-win for the Lakers if they bring him in. There's no way they could go wrong considering he's still a rookie and would get limited playing time. Also, we got him in the second round http://lakernation.c...tyle_emoticons/default/laughing.gif
What do you think?

From what I've heard, this guy can't even hold his own on the Chinese national team.

He's got some tough competition on the Chinese team in Chen Jianghua. Chen is a heck of a player with great court vision and a nice perimeter game. Very quick as well.

He's one handed, has absolutely no jump shot, and cannot play off the ball. Because he can't play off the ball, he doesn't have the athleticism to be an NBA point.

The team has had ongoing conversations with the agent for Sun Yue, the second-round draft choice from 2007 and Kupchak affirmed that he expected Yue to be with the team in training camp. Yue just needs permission from his team in China to come to the U.S., and his agent said that process has already begun.
