I hate the Celtics as much as anyone but I can respect them for beating us. But F*** their fans. Boston fans as the worst fans I have ever seen. The majority of them are racist and talk [expletive] bout there own players but when things are on the rise they act like they support them all the time.

Well Put !!!

Btw guys, I read that they are blaming it on poor refereeing....I was so involved in the plays that I didn't really take notice. Was that true?

To be honest, I noticed a lot of calls going our way, they got called for random offensive fouls and some fouls inside for them weren't called. But then I noticed the refs were letting us play a lot more, they only got a few more fouls than us, we got only like 15FTs to their 8, and I don't think Kobe even got one. If you're the champs and [expletive]talking us and are supposed to win by 20, you can't blame a 9 point loss on refs.

And I got respect for some of those realistic Celts fans in your quotes.

Woooooooooo Go lakers baby

Celtic fans need to shut their mouth about the officiating. The refs let the teams play both ways, there could have been fouls called on the Lakers, but the same could be said about the Celtics.

Kobe did not even attempt one free throw.

Bottom line, Lakers shut down the Celtics in the fourth quarter. We held them to 16 points and finished the game on a 13-2 run.

I am glad the refs let the two teams play the game. It was way more enjoyable than hearing a whistle blow every 5 seconds. If the Celtics fans are complaining about the Officiating I laugh at them, Celtics had about 2-4 open 3 pointers (IN THE 4th QUARTER ALONE), wide open 3 pointers in which they all missed. I don't think you can blame officials for that, can you? Celtics had 17 turnovers, 17. ALL of them were dididi plays for the Celtics and had nothing to do with poor officiating (stupid football passes, passes to the other team...ect). Lakers scored 18 Points off turn overs. Complaining about the FT difference, okay we will even it up and give them 7 more FT attempts, shooting at 75% they would only make about 5 more points. Biggest stat of the night and IMO was the difference maker of the game was the 9 blocks Lakers had compare to the 3 of the Celtics. It wasn't officiating. Calls went both ways. All blocks were clean and Celtics fans shouldn't be making excuses...Is it to warm in LA?

Well let's not forget, the Celtics are the defending champs, and although we beat them yesterday, doesn't make up the defending champs.

Hopefully we can face again in June and find out the truth.

I'd plow Vanessa Bryant.

Here are some more quotes, this time from redsarmy.com:

Consider this just a memo to the Lakers trolls who think last night’s game was anything more than a win. The Celtics are still wearing rings. And the Finals are 6 months away.

There’s not much that can be said about last night’s game. In my opinion, the game was right there for the Celtics to take, and the Lakers just made more plays. I’m not going after the refs (although I’m still not sure how Rondo was called for an offensive foul as he was going up for a dunk). Even in the Finals, the Celtics lost 2 of 3 in LA. It’s a tough place to win. It was a great battle to watch. Congrats on your big December win, Lakers.

The Lakers were the more physical team because the referees allowed them to be. Anytime the Celtics amped up their play, their were whistled for some BS foul.

Those were from the front page of the website! Not even from the forums. I would add stuff from the forums, but the forums actually suck pretty bad lol.

I love RedsArmy.com - the dude knows his stuff and makes his points.

There will be a lot of talking and until we beat them in a 7 game series, in the Finals en route to our next championship; we've done NOTHING. However, unlike last year, we can compete and have proven we can beat this team (unlike the 2 reg. season match ups last year - though we had no Gasol). It's very important for us to keep dominating teams. They still have a better record than us.

They have to. It's all part of the game. We should too. It's all part of the plan. Everyone should. It makes the best out of everyone. I could be wrong though. We'll see next time.

I say James Posey is never worth that money, but at this point, Boston have no choice... Their bench is HORRIBLE.

I think we seriously exposed their weaknesses on their bench.

Big difference maker of what they lost since they took us out in the finals last June:

A) No James Posey (obviously)
B)No P.J Brown (He is retired I think and the minutes he played against us , he killed us)
C) They have No experience playing against Bynum and Gasol in our lineup

We need to build off this win and the game we got against Golden State, don't think the Warriors wouldn't love to Beat us after they beat Boston.
They are riding high too.Plus it is gonna be tough playing against Ronny!!!
Too me he is still a LAKER !! Pull a D-Fish Ronny an come home!!!!

I went to their main page and already laughing my [expletive] off. They hadn't done the warriors game writeup.

And to think their blog is like talking to us...keep on boasting....might as well throw out the past championships from the 60s to 80s and pit against ours. Even though ours may not be as many as theirs, but why ONLY talk about the one last season?

Arses...

P.S. Is it just me or is their version severely underused? Or I'm on unregistered status thus didn't see everything?
